Cetaphil Daily FacialCleanser has a low-foaming formulation that is gentle enough to use on your face every day. Use it in the morning and at night to remove surface oils, dirt and makeup — all without stripping skin, which can leave it feeling tight and dry.
• Get fresh, squeaky clean feeling skin without tightness or over-drying
• Rinses easily with no irritating or pore-clogging residue
• Low-lather formula won’t strip skin of natural oils

I've been using the Gentle Skin Cleanser for 20 years. I accidentally bought the Daily Facial Cleanser because the bottles look exactly the same. Unlike the Gentle Skin Cleanser, the Daily Cleanser contains this horrible smelling fragrance and it irritated and burned my skin. The bottles look identical. $15 down the drain. Be careful when purchasing!!!

I don't understand why there is masking fragrance in the cleanser. This is marketed as a line for sensitive skin or gentle cleansing. My face was on fire after I used the cleanser for oily skin. Burning! You have lost a long time customer. Good bye.

I have tried many cleansers and this by far is the best!!! Within a week I noticed a huge difference in my pore size and mild acne in general. For the amount you get, the price is perfect. I'd recommend this to anyone. Just make sure to use a moisturizer after because it will dry out your face.

Above all else, this is my favorite everyday facial cleanser. It is very gentle and it clears any potential pimple spots before they even appear! I am absolutely obsessed with it. If you are on the fence about getting it, I recommend that you should. Try a small bottle (about $4) and see how it goes.
I didn't think there was a smell.

I am fairly new to using Cetaphil (around one year) and didn't know (until recently) that there are actually three different facial cleansers! Not knowing this, I grabbed a bottle of it and realized after I opened it that it didn't look the same as what I had been using for the past year. This was cloudy in color where my other Cetaphil cleanser was always clear. Figured alright, I'm sure its the same but it wasn't. It was for sensitive skin with no foaming at all. It was like putting lotion on my face, except I noticed afterwards my skin seemed drier and not as soft either.
I looked at my empty bottle sitting in the waste basket and Ah-ha! It was the daily facial cleanser that I had been using which is clear, foams and leaves my skin soft and moisturized.
I headed out to the store to get what I needed and needless to say will be throwing away nearly $10.00 on the bottle that I mistakenly bought.
While looking for "Daily" cleanser I noticed yet a third bottle that said "Advanced" cleanser. Problem is, all these bottles look identical and you have to read the labels to be sure your getting what you want. It would be nice if the makers of Cetaphil changed the labels so that consumers could tell what they are buying. Yes, I can read but having all identical labels on all cleansers is kinda strange.
The daily cleanser is what works for me. at age 58 I still have oily/combination skin. Wish I found this when I was younger, it would have saved me a lot of grief.
For those saying they can't find the original, which I believe it what I am using (no fragrance at all), I got mine at Wal-mart though Costco usually also has it (better value, larger bottle sold in conjunction with the lotion).

I have been using Cetaphil for 38 years, my daughter for 28. It used to be silky and fragrance-free, but now I can't find that original product (5 stars). Getting customers is 75% of effort in marketing, keeping them just 25%. Why add fragrance and water it down? You have just lost two customers for life by changing the formula!

I bought this product by mistake.i have used the Genle Skin Cleanser for 20 years. They have redone the packaging so the bottles look virtually the same. But the Daily Facial Cleanser burned my skin, is thicker and does not rinse off easily. The marketers and package designers at Cetaohil have made a big mistake by labeling these two products so much alike. Buyer beware! Look carefully and get the same wonderful GENTLE SKIN CLEANSER, not this stuff.

Wish I had found this product way back. I like the gentle lather and light scent. My skin is clean, fresh and ready for Cetaphil sunscreen in the morning or Cetaphil cream at night. It is the only "cleanser/soap" on my bathroom vanity. Nothing else is the same!

Cetaphil Daily Cleanser has proven to be effective, easy, and usable of all four individuals in my family. Not harsh or drying. I totally recommend!

i know they really need to bring a fragrance free option in the normal to oily skin, fragrance is not good for us anyway, extra chemicals that i for one dont need, and the formula same!!! its a nice product and with the fragrance free option can be perfection
