This cream is perhaps a little heavy for everyday moisturizing over large areas (unless maybe you have eczema or very dry skin). I use the Moisturizing Lotion for that. But for rashes or small areas of irritation, this is tops. When my skin gets red or sore or itchy or flaky, I use Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream and it gives instant relief. It is soothing and cooling and the discomfort just fades away. Bliss! So mild and gentle, no colour or perfume, perfect!

Have used this cream for my face since my late teens...I was shocked to open my new jar and discover that its label ingredients now contain parabens. It's time for a change of brand.

I just checked the new 'good housekeeping' version that I bought last time and saw it had paraben. The old bottles never had it. Why did cetaphil decide to add paraben? Such a disappointment.

I have loved this product for many years. I have raved about it to others encouraging them to buy it. Many can't believe how good my skin looks at 52 and I attribute it to using this product everyday. But now you have extremely disappointed this extremely loyal customer by changing the formula to add parabens. WHY? Why add ingredients that many are running from? That is poor business sense anyway. You have forced this loyal customer to running the other way. No more recommendations from me.

I used to love this product. My face gets really dry and I loved the rich cream but I don't like that parabens have been added. I didn't even realize it was on the ingredient list now until I was half way through the container. Now I'm on a search for moisturizing cream that doesn't contain parabens.

I am 41 years old and have developed an allergy to parabens. I did not read the label closely enough and thought that Cetaphil would be clear of them. I quickly learned it is not.
Ended up at the Dermatologist yet again.
