What's interesting about this is that this formula is vitamin C sensitive skin-friendly and it defends against free radicals. It also diminishes the appearance of  sun related dark spots without the irritation. My thoughts: This actually gave me essence like vibes.  It was very lightweight and it absorbed very quickly. Waiting one minute after applying and before moving on to the next step in the routine is recommended. I used this mainly at night and followed up with the renewing cream. They are a great pair, my face was hydrated and felt nourished.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware I have always used cetaphil cleanser and lotion . I recently bought the vitamin c serum . After 2 weeks my chin felt irrited and red . I thought it was a new whitening toothpaste that I bought that had gotten on my chin . After 3 weeks in my entire face felt irrited and on fire . I never thought it was from the serum since it's made for sensitive skin. After 4 weeks I went to the dermatologist. She said that vitamin c can be harsh on your skin and you should slowly incorporated into your skincare slowly. I wish cetaphil would but this on packaging. It's been 3 weeks since I've stopped using it . While my skin is getting better it's not 100% back to normal

Rated 4 out of 5 by from not for me, but not bad So, I have had a sneaking suspicion that I may be in the 1% of people that have a sensitivity to niacinamide, and unfortunately this whole line proved my theory right. I used the entire line for a few weeks, and everything felt wonderful, but I found my skin getting red, rough and sensitive the longer I used them. I had to discontinue use, but I think if you are in the majority of the population this would be an excellent daytime brightening serum. It was lightweight, absorbed well, laid well under other products, no fragrance, and good ingredients, so I still give it a 4 star rating, but I have gifted the whole line to my boyfriend, so hopefully he’ll start a skincare regimen.
